Vickie Price Taylor

The first thing you need to know about me is that I love all things fiction. I read it, write it, analyze it, teach it. It’s the one subject I never grow tired of, and any time I can find a way to incorporate it into my day, I am happy.

Fortunately, my day jobs allow me to feed my addiction. I am a teacher, writer, wife, and mom. All four occupations give me the chance to share my passion with an audience that, for the most part, can’t walk away.

I’ve also had the pleasure of proofreading for students, authors, private organizations, and lawyers. It’s a diverse group, to be sure, but the experiences have given me a pretty extensive education.

I’m a mountain girl, born and bred, living all my life in colorful towns up and down the Appalachian Mountain Range, and settling most recently in wild and wonderful West Virginia. I love hiking wooded trails and running along the mighty Ohio River.

I live a pretty ordinary life, but I serve an extraordinary God, and it’s the love he’s shown me that drives my writing.  My stories portray the grace he offers to the fallen, and the hope he provides for the broken.  He is the one who inspires the thoughts and provides the words.

I am a people person at heart and love hanging out with friends and talking about their latest great read. I invite you to visit my site often and share your thoughts, ideas, and favorite books.  I look forward to getting to know you.
